This was on back order for a while but I held my purchase and I am so glad I did! It was larger than anticipated, high quality and had just all around stunning look. It was very well packaged as well. The only thing I would have changed was the name plate. It is very nice but wish it would have been screwed in rather than adhesive. I can do that myself though. I purchased this for a birthday gift - this is just beautiful! It is better than pictured without a doubt. I also purchased the engraved initial plate, the only recommendation is that initial for the last name (middle letter) I wished was a bit bigger than the first and middle initial on the ends - all the letters are the same size so doesn't really give the "monogram" look - that, however, is just cosmetic. I love my 3 tier Maidson Humidor...once properly seasoned, it holds its room temp and humidity exactly how I want it...a single boveda pack and it's foam block hold a perfect Rh...for me 68° / 66rh is where think is perfect. I had 2 main concerns when buying this. One was hoping it would arrive undamaged and the other was it properly holding humidity. It arrived in perfect condition and it is holding humidity between 69%-70% with only one of the two humidification devices which come with it. I'm extremely pleased with my purchase. I looked at other places and saw the same humidor for higher prices and without options. The Madison is very nice. It is solid and well built. I was hesitant of buying a wood an glass item seeing as how packages are treated by some delivery people. This humidor was boxed in 3 boxes with all types of wrap to keep it safe. So far a great unit. As stated in previous reviews arrived fast & packaged to survive a hurricane. Seasoned for 2 weeks with boveda 84% seasoning kit. Added 75 cigars two days ago along with a boveda 69% 320 gram pack and its currently holding a steady 70%. First, this thing arrived packaged like a tank. Overall it looks nice. The lock and magnets work fine holding it closed, humidity 69-70% for over a month now. Product was packed so that only willfully negligent handling could possibly cause damage, and even that's only a possibility! Opened large box to find another box that was surrounded by air packs. Opened that box to find that it was containing another box. Third box contained humidor and it was packed with molded foam on corners and sides. Humidor was then wrapped in two layers of thin foam sheets. Impressive. It is truly appreciated to know 1st Class Humidors cares enough to ensure package arrives in pristine condition...truly 1st class...

Product itself looks great and is a beautiful humidor! Workmanship on shelves and overall cabinet is terrific. Door closes with simple lock and magnets. I have only one concern. There is a rubber gasket/weather strip built into the unit around section where door meets cabinet that should ensure a tight seal. However, I see a slight gap and gasket does not seal against door. My concern is how well it will keep desired humidity without a tight seal. I am currently seasoning with Boveda packs. Will follow up and if it holds humidity I will change quality to 5 stars. I got this a gift to my husband, just because. I received an email confirmation of the order first, then received another email that was to contain the tracking info; it did not. I called and spoke with a very nice gentleman who provided the info. When the pkg came, it was nicely packaged, containing just the humidor and not the additional items we purchased, or so I thought. Bought this for my husband who was using (and complaining) 3 smaller humidors to contain his cigar stash.

He said he wished he had a bigger one. I found this beauty He is very happy with the way it looks, and will perfectly hold 60 churchills... can still stack on 9 more on top of each tray, if necessary, for a total of 87 churchills!!!!

We did not use the humidifiers that came with it, instead used a jar of beads and that keeps the humidity perfect. I have never seen anything shipped that came packaged so well.... 3 boxes, foam corners and loads of heavy duty bubble wrap!!!

If i had known it was so well packed i would have made him wait for the birthday that it was intended for instead of making him open it to see if it was ok..... very happy customer.

I bought the Madison a few weeks ago along with the Cigar Oasis Excel and a digital hygrometer. The humidor looks great right out of the box and the humidifier has been working to perfection. I had a some sticks my wife gave me, which had been sitting in original packaging for over a month, and they were starting to dry out. Got this for my birthday the other day. Came packed extremely well and in one piece. The humidor is nice and heavy and is made really well. The door has a nice seal. I'm seasoning it right now. Just to say a couple of words, this is my first humidor. I was looking at smaller ones but the price of the smaller ones were nearly the same as the Madison, so why go smaller? It's very easy to maintain and I can admire my cigars through the four glass sides. I did purchase the digital hygrometer because of its accuracy being more dependable than the analog. I've only had it a couple of weeks and I am totally happy with it at this point. The customer service has been phenomenal. They made sure that I was taken care of with all my questions and concerns. And I thought they would get sick of hearing from me but they did not. And the packing and shipping of this product was top notch, extremely secure, well packed. Thank you 1st Class and Kaili. I purchased the "Madison 3 tiered humidor" from 1st class cigar humidors because of the positive reviews. Other companies are selling a similar humidor for about the same price but their customer reviews were not as upbeat or encouraging. This humidor is solid and beautiful looking! It is a rich-looking piece.
It is very user-friendly. The door pulls shut and evenly. The shelves are easily removed which allows me to shut the humidor while looking at a shelf of cigars. There are 3 shelves and I can store my cigars by category on each shelf. The shelves are also angled and that allows me to view my cigars without ever having to open the humidor. I feel as though I have a store type humidor in my home!
I am ecstatic over the cigar oasis ultra humidifier. It cost extra but is worth it! It keeps my humidor at a constant 70. This is the most pain-free humidifier I have ever purchased! Though, I can barely hear it, when that little fan kicks on, it is music to my ears! I truly believe that the constant humidity level is due to the combination of the humidor and the humidifier. I have had humidors since the mid 90's and this is, by far, the happiest I have ever been about one! It was a constant battle to keep the humidity level at 70 for the past 20 years. Most of the time, I could not get it right. I thought there was something wrong with me. but now, I don't have to do anything to keep the humidity perfect! It restored my confidence as a cigar smoker. I have a beautiful and very practical humidor and I never have to worry about keeping the humidity level constant. I am in cigar heaven!

I order this humidor as it was in stock.
The next day I got av enough staying it was out of stock yet the website never showed out of stock. I got an email about 3 days after from Kaili who said she found one and was shipping it.
The unit arrived a week later in perfect condition, packed well. I got the upgraded hydig and a nameplate. The nameplate didn't arrive with the package and i has to email Kaili again who had it resent.
The humidor took about 10 days to season and works well!

This humidor is gorgeous. Seems to hold humidity very well so far. I followed all the procedures, and just got through seasoning the humidor. The hygrometer seems to work well and the box is holding consistently. I haven't loaded cigars in it yet, so can't attest to what it will do when loaded. Packaged very well in a Styrofoam box, inside of another, inside of another. I was hesitant about the order for this reason alone as the humidor is all glass, but it made it with no flaw to the box.
The only complaint (if you would even consider it a complaint) was that it didn't ship with the keys, humidifiers, or shelves. However, customer service was great, friendly, and efficient. They gave me tracking numbers, and had it picked and shipped that day. It all came in, with an extra 3 humidifiers, and really the only thing that came of that was that it made me wait a little longer to season it. No biggie.
Would definitely recommend to a friend, and did. He saw mine, asked about the site, shipping etc., and ordered a humidor for himself. (Posted on 5/9/16)

I believe I gave it 5 stars on all points but my link is not showing it. It is exceptional and the price is well worth it. Was delivered to my door surprisingly quickly and was salaid so well that it took half an hour just to get it out which is a very good thing for how much glass it is!

I am very please with the overall construction and finish of the humidor. There were a few items I was a bit surprised. First is the lack of instructions on how to season the humidifier and or even how to use it. a few clicks on Google and your in luck. Second was I figured the name plate would be professionally installed but it was sent in a plastic sleeve with 3m tape. Third was that I ordered the digital gauge and the same with the name plate I assumed it would have been installed, if fact I thought it would have been installed instead if the other gauge that was installed. First off, I too was surprised at how great it looked and I am still impressed. As with any mass manufacturing there will be moments when the product has issues as mine did. However, after a couple of email exchanges my phone rang and it was Charline, from Customer Service. I never expected that. We discussed my issue and found an equitable solution for her and I. I understand this review is more about their customer service than it is about the humidor but to me they can't be separated. This was a great purchase for the money. It shipped from FL to NC way faster than expected. The built in analog hygromenter is accurate within 1-3%. I will say be weary of the humidifiers that are included - they can be a bit much for this humidor. I would recommend buying beads instead.
